Information about Commissions
Materials
Clendaniel uses artist-grade oil paints that do not contain any toxic solvents. He paints on panel versus canvas, because canvas is less durable. If you prefer canvas, he would be glad to accommodate your request. The painting supports are primed with three coats of white primer, a layer of red, and a thin layer of gold paint. The red and gold paint shine through small gaps in the oil paint, making the paintings glow when light hits them at certain angles. This is Clendaniel's signature technique. A natural wood frame is included, with hanging hardware installed, so the painting will be ready to hang.
